FVHA 12U Tournament Team

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The FVHA 12U Eagles Tournament Team is designed to provide a competitive, development-focused experience for players of all ability levels. Throughout the season, the team will participate in a carefully selected mix of both "A" and "B" level tournaments, allowing coaches to place players in competitive environments that best support their growth and confidence.

Whenever possible, multiple FVHA teams will attend the same tournaments. This not only helps reduce travel demands for families with more than one player in the association, but also allows coaches to collaborate, support one another, and create a consistent development experience across all age levels.

Our goal is to provide every player with meaningful opportunities to compete, improve, and develop a lifelong passion for the game while representing the Eagles with pride.

LOCATION

Practices will be held at the Fraser Valley Ice Box, located within the Fraser Valley Sports Complex in Fraser, Colorado. We will make every effort to select tournament destinations within a 2–3 hour drive of Grand County, balancing strong competition with reasonable travel commitments for our families.

Practices

Practices are tentatively scheduled for:

Mondays & Wedsdays

5:15 PM – 6:45 PM

Practice times and dates are subject to adjustment based on final ice availability and league scheduling.

SEASON COST

Program Fee:

$2,200

Payment plans are available.

Scholarship opportunities are available for families who may need financial assistance. No player will be denied participation due to financial circumstances.

What Is Included

• Approximately seven tournament weekends throughout the season

• Two team practices per week

• USA Hockey sanctioned competition

UNIFORMS

New Eagles uniforms may be purchased during the registration process. Returning players may continue using their existing jersey if it still fits.

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

FVHA believes every player should have the opportunity to participate regardless of financial circumstances. Scholarship opportunities and payment plans are available for qualifying families.

If you are applying for scholarship assistance, please complete and submit the FVHA Scholarship Application first. Once your application has been submitted, please pause the remainder of the registration process and wait for an email from the Scholarship Committee regarding your award determination.

FVHA Scholarship Assistance

The committee's response will also include instructions for submitting your deposit and completing your player's registration. Any remaining balance, if applicable, will be adjusted accordingly.

This process will help ensure that scholarship awards are properly applied before registration is finalized.

FVHA 12U 2026-2027

The Fraser Valley Hockey 12U team is a competitive tournament team designed for players looking to further develop their skills and compete against strong opponents from around Colorado.

The team will participate in approximately seven tournaments throughout the season, competing in a mix of both "B" and "A" level events. Our goal is to provide players with an appropriate balance of competition while emphasizing skill development, hockey IQ, teamwork, and a positive team culture.

Players can expect two practices per week, tournament competition throughout the season, and opportunities to grow both on and off the ice. Coaches will focus on individual skill development, team concepts, and creating an environment that fosters hard work, accountability, and a love for the game.
