All Member Meeting
FVHA’s annual all member meeting will be held May 6th, 2026 at 6pm at Fraser Valley Metro Rec meeting room.
Fraser Valley Hockey Association is run by a 7 member volunteer board of directors. Each board member is elected for a two year term. Every other year 4 or 3 board members are up for election. The 2026 election year had 4 board seats up for election. Board members are elected by the association members at the Annual All Member meeting. Specific board seats are elected by the board at the regular monthly meeting following the annual meeting.
Board members are expected to attend monthly board meetings that are held on 2nd full week of the month on Wednesday evenings. Meetings are typically 2 hours. Board members are expected to attend a minimum of two thirds of all board meetings. Board members are expected to serve on committees, attend annual strategic planning & budget meetings, attend other meetings as they arise and respond promptly to emails. Monthly average of time commitment is 10-15 hours but can be more as needs arise.

Our success will be measured by more children participating in youth hockey and choosing an active lifestyle year after year.
If you are interested in a board position, please complete the interest form by 5pm on April 27th. The information will be shared out to the members for review before the Annual meeting on May 6th, 2026. All interested candidates must be present for this meeting.
